Itinerary :
Day 1 :
Adelaide :
Arrive Adelaide.Pick up from airport and then transfer to City hotel. Overnight at hotel. (B)
Day 2 :
City Sightseeing Tour :
Breakfast at hotel. Begin your orientation of Adelaide with a tour around the central business and shopping district. You will pass the State Library and Trinity Church, Adelaide's oldest church, before arriving at Haigh's Chocolate factory (not open Sundays). Here you will enjoy a brief tour, enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee and some chocolate samples. The tour continues out to the seaside town of Glenelg where there is free time to look around. You may decide to stay and spend the afternoon returning by tram to the city (own expense) or continue on the coach back to the heart of Adelaide. (B)
Day 3 :
Barossa Valley Tour : Breakfast at hotel. Sample the delights of the Barossa Valley with wine tasting at Wolf Blass Winery followed by wine tasting and a delicious winery lunch at Kaesler’s Winery Restaurant. Travel through the old mill town of Woodside and the Adelaide Hills dotted with quaint villages to Hahndorf, Australia’s oldest German settlement. Enjoy free time to walk and browse along the main street. Morning tea is included. (B, L)
Day 4 :
Adelaide - Melbourne : Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for the departure flight. Arrive Melbourne and transfer to hotel of your choice. Overnight at hotel. (B)
Day 5 :
Melbourne Highlights : Breakfast at hotel. Free in the morning. Join your coach for your afternoon tour, including city highlights and the Dandenong Ranges National Park. The Dandenong Ranges promise picturesque forests, cool fern gullies and charming villages. Enjoy breathtaking views of the city and Port Phillip Bay from the Dandenongs Lookout. Immerse yourself in Sherbrooke’s ancient forest, hand-feed colourful native birds, walk among the giant mountain ash forests and listen for kookaburras, rosellas and parrots. (B)
Day 6 :
Sovereign Hill Tour : Breakfast at hotel. Absorb the history of the goldrush era at Sovereign Hill. Pan for gold, tour underground mines or ride a stagecoach (own expense). Visit the Eureka Stockade Centre and learn of the notorious days of rebellion. Wander the main street to visit goldsmiths, craftsmen and traders, and enjoy browsing the unique period-style stores along with real-life characters and story re-enactments. Watch traditional skills being practised using age-old techniques by wood turners and metallurgists. Lunch at own expense. (B)
Day 7 :
Sydney : Arrive Sydney and transfer to hotel of your choice. Overnight at hotel. (B)
Day 8 :
City Sightseeing Tour : Breakfast at hotel. Half Day city tour. City sights tour includes Opera House, Parliament House, Hyde Park, Sydney Tower and Darling Harbour. Own way back to Hotel. Overnight at hotel. (B)
Day 9 :
Blue Mountains & Wildlife Park : Breakfast at hotel. Full day visit to Blue Mountains. See steep valleys, canyons and the Three Sisters on the Skyway, Scenic Railway or Cableway (own expense). Enjoy a morning break in the township of Leura and listen to ancient Aboriginal Dreamtime legends before arriving at Echo Point to view the Three Sisters. Enjoy a stop at Govett's Leap and have the opportunity to enjoy the Fairfax Heritage Walk. Visit an Australian wildlife park with an opportunity to touch a koala and see kangaroos, wombats, dingoes and other unique Australian animals. Lunch at own expense.. Overnight at hotel. (B)
Day 10 : Sydney :
Breakfast at Hotel. Transfer to Sydney airport by HOTELBUS. (B)
